Dearest Lucy,
I can tell you have been stressed. You are starting to feel the pressure of figuring out your future. You keep telling us that you want to go out of state for college, yet in the same breath you tell us that you don't want to grow up. I know you are very smart and you will be absolutely fine with whatever you choose. We had a youth and parent meeting on Sunday. The parents gathered and discussed great things. My favorite was to parent with faith, not fear. I think since you've gone to high school, I have parented with fear because I want to protect you and not let you fall in to worldly temptations. I am trying to do better and trust Heavenly Father's plan for you. It is an exciting time, and I will sit back and let you take the wheel!
