Dear Lucy,
You have grown up so much lately. You are enjoying being a big 5th grader at William Penn! Your teachers are Mrs. Wagstaff, Mrs. Ellsworth and Mrs. Booth. You have always been such a great student. All of your teachers (except Mrs. Wagstaff because she wasn't sure who you were) told me how SMART you are. They are right. You have always been able to figure things out and be so driven! I love that about you. You work so hard. You didn't have school on Friday and so after chores, you and Syd Rossi went to Get Air, then the Park 5, then to Mindi Cheer for 2 hours, then straight to dinner with the Pughs and a late over! You were exhausted. You never want to stop! Saturday you did your chores, then went to your soccer game and got angry at the other team so you RAN and RAN. Afterward, you got a terrible headache and stomach ache. When you are not taking care of your body, you seem to always get headaches. Luckily you had a good night sleep and a big breakfast today so you are feeling better.
You are getting so mature in your thoughts and actions. I am grateful that dad and I can trust you to babysit every week. Even though you were sick last night, you still babysat because dad and I had to go to a wedding. You take care of your siblings, but at the same time get extremely annoyed with them, especially your sister. I'm hoping the two of you will become best friends as you get older. Love you, girl.
Mom
